The MoG Fast Rope Tactical gloves have been developed together with the Instruction Group Rotary Wing (Royal Dutch Army) and are primarily designed for professional and tactical use during (combat) operations. This ‘rope-to-gun’ type has some distinctive features compared to the ‘standard’ Fast Rope glove.
- The slim fit finger construction provides extremely high finger sensitivity for handling ropes but also allows the manipulation of weapons, radio and other equipment as soon as touch-down. It also avoids the risk of twisted fingers.
- The multiple but thin layered palm construction with a split leather top layer provides excellent grip, buffers against heat accumulation during fast roping and offers additional cut protection
- split leather reinforcement patches on the fingers and in the crotch between thumb and index finger
- The glove provides higher protection against heat accumulation in the palm and fingers, and is certified to the EN 407 standard - Contact Heat protection level 2 (claimed only for palm and fingers).
- The conductive leather on thumb and index finger enables easy use of touchscreen devices
- extra stitching lines and recess areas at strategic points ensure higher dexterity
- reinforcement of the critical areas on / between thumb and index finger, for extra protection
- the recess on crucial areas on the index finger and thumb provide extra flexibility
- the back of hand is made of 4-way stretch and quick drying fabric offering a breathable and comfortable fit, while the knuckle area is partly covered with neoprene acting as soft impact protection during accidental blows
- the short cuff allows free movement at the wrist and is equipped with a solid hook and loop closure for easy donning and doffing and tight fit around the wrist
- there is a strong and foldable loop at the inner cuff for easy fixing to a carabiner, belt or plate-carrier

The glove is certified according to EN 388 and EN 407 standards for resp. mechanical protection and for protection against contact heat.
